For my professional and critical practice unit, i've decided to go ahead with doing a work placement....
Throughout the christmas period i was talking with a promoter who's fighter i'd done a video for in my previous assignment. Because he was happy with the video he asked if i'd be interested in doing an advertisement/promo video for a professional boxing show that his got planned for Saturday 14th of March 2015. As everything required from the work placement sheet had been provided by the promotor Joe Elfidh, i've decided to go ahead with this work placement.
So in short, the work that i'll be doing is:
I will be creating a promotional video advert of the boxers fighting on the show called "The Homecoming" to help promote the professional boxing show - in order to increase their potential ticket sales leading up to the event.
The turnaround i have by the way to produce this video is very short; as we're currently in January and the show is happening in March, so ideally the promoter wants this video done within a week/Two weeks tops!
