Due to filming in an actuality driven environment, where the stonemasons are working towards tight deadlines, this has made communication with the workshop kind of difficult, which has made planning difficult for me as well, because, where i would plan to hopefully cover certain events, i've not been able to due to communication, and also other factors such as the apprentice's being at college for two weeks, easter holidays, stonemason meetings etc.

However, i'm not going to use this as an excuse, but try and work around it by adjusting the apprentice stonemason story. Hopefully, to my advantage, because of the way i've decided to conduct the interviews by doing audio recordings, i'm going to try and support the answers given from the apprentice's by a selection of visuals, either featuring them in the shots, or, doing something that they're describing they like doing i.e. in an audio pre-interview i had with Mirella she mentioned she liked the apprenticeship scheme because she gets to do drawing, for this, i could show a stonemason drawing up templates in the drawing board office.

Because of this adjustment, it's not sticking to the idea that was originally pitched then revised, however, i'm still going to carry on the work with the notion that it will represent the apprenticeship program, and show as much of the stonemason apprentices as possible, trying to get as much coverage as possible.

As a contingency plan, i have been touring with the idea that i'f i've not gotten to cover as much variety of shots of the apprentice's as possible, that i would cover other stonemasons and change the name of documentary to "The Cathedral stonemasons" "The Cathedral Stonemasonry" "It's Set In Stone"(title taken from news post on website www.canterbury-cathedral.org/2013/05/20/its-set-in-stone/
