Video blog post and further info on how i filmed my second scene of the opening act, and problems i faced and how i overcame those problems.

Filming using my Canon 60D with my 17-85mm f4-5.6 lens and Rhode video shotgun mic
settings:
Lens focal distance: 24mm
Aperture: 4.0
ISO:1600
Kelvin: 3600
FPS: 25
Shutter speed: 1\48
Resolution: 1920x1080

Mic design set up, got my hands free mic at the side of the laptop to record Phillip slapping the pen pot

So yea filming went alright, whilst filming i muted the sound from the laptop because i'm going to use the audio from scene one to add to the audio design for scene two.
All of the mics i've used to record the sound i might not use the audio when it comes to post production where i might not need to, however, i thought that i'd get more than i need just incase i need to beef up my sound and also to build up my own sound library

At first i recorded scene two because it was easier for me to get out of the way where i could do it in the evening. Where i was thinking of cropping the scene one footage over the laptop in scene two, when i watched back the footage, i thought that it would be extra unnecessary work where i would have to motion track the laptop closing, and also crop out sections of the screen as Phillip slaps the pen pot onto the floor. So for this reason i decided to re film scene two after i've recorded scene one and just upload the footage to youtube; and have Phillip watching that instead.
