After my tutorial with helen on wednesday 2nd april 2014, she said that i should contact my contributors again to further scout my locations; and also to find our what my potential contributors are like, in regards to their personality's, and whether if they would fit the tone of the documentary. She also said i should create questions to ask our contributors, but also ourselves to further help our research to prepare a solid narrative.
So after my tutorial with her, i immediately contacted the stone-yard to see if i could arrange a meeting for the following week.
After my conversation with Emlyn he gave me his email, to which i emailed him to reassure our visit for the following week.
Unfortunately where the stone yard had visitors today and i couldn't get through to Emlyn in the morning, when i contacted him after lunchtime, i rearranged our visit for thursday, letting Emlyn know that i shall contact him on wednesday to confirm what time we're going to visit. (was my fault! where i did not establish a time slot, i said to him that i would contact him on the morning)
This happening however, has allowed more time for me to prepare questions for research purpose, so that when we visit the site, we pretty much know what we're looking out for, and what we want to ask, where i've done the necessary research already.
The main purpose for the visit to the stone yard, is for us to do a further Recce of the location, to look out for further hazards, entry points, car parks, and accessibility to potential areas within the location that we want to film within. Also, to look out for potential good locations to film at, and see how the structure of the stone-yard works, and find/cast our definite contributors.
