So that The Homecoming audio sounds crisp when the audience is viewing the advert, i contacted my sound engineer/producer friend Aaron Evo Boswell to level out the audio from each clip and eq it so that it sounds the best that it can.
So that he was able to eq the audio for the project, i first sent him over a low quality video of the advert that would be able to playback on Q base (non linear audio editing software) smoothly without taking up much processing. I then rendered out each individual audio channel inside of Adobe Premiere, keeping it aligned with the correct timing, so that he'd be able to mix down each channel. (Kellison, 191:2009)
Solo'd then rendered each individual video audio channel
Once he had all of the audio files EVO imported it into Q-base and aligned it up with the video file
With all of the audio files imported he then equalised the audio
He then applied the FX that he wanted on 3 individual channels
Having the effects on 3 individual channels, he could then select which video audio clip he wanted to send through on a bus to the effects channel.
Once Evo had finished mastering the audio, he then blended together all the separate audio elements into a final mix track - that i was then able to 'marry' to the picture and lock it in. (Kellison, 193:2009)
