In order to fully establish what it was that the promoter wanted from this promotional video, we scheduled a meeting at the "Ship & Trade" pub in Chatham maritime to discuss an action plan and overall blueprint of what we want to achieve.

Idea behind the show and advert
It's a professional boxing event being judged by the British Board of Boxing Control, with local lads from within the Kent county fighting against out of tower's. The promoter has not confirmed their match ups yet, so for the video I'm to focus on getting footage of the fighters training, plus footage of previous fights they may have had. With this footage i'm then to create a highlight reel promotional video, letting the viewers know the time; date, location and fighters of the event.
Further notes taken from the meeting was that:
All of the fighters are on Facebook, message them and ask for them to send over any links to their fights, or arrange with them to bring their DVD down to the gym.
Possibly wants voice over announcer
Wants good music/sound track to go with the footage!
!!Deadline for the advert to be done by 2 weeks from the meeting!!
At the end of the meeting after taking all of the notes down, i evaluated the task at hand and quoted the promoter £200 for doing the video (something i will only charge him that cheap for once!). We shook hands on it, then i told him that i'd get back to him with a contract agreement form in our next meeting - once i had conducted some research and provided a pre project proposal to see if he was ok with what he was paying for.
